The point is that you can become anything you want to become and can accomplish almost anything you want to accomplish, if you learn what you need to learn. It is such an obvious fact that most people miss it completely. Many high achievers started out with no money, no contacts and no knowledge of the industry they succeeded in. But they knew that they could learn what they needed to learn in order to do what they wanted to do.

1. Find your place in the market. Look at the marketplace and determine where you can best apply yourself, utilizing your unique talents and abilities. Which customers, companies or markets can best benefit from your special talents and offer you the most in terms of financial rewards and future opportunities?

2. Concentrate your energy on success. Once you have decided your area of specialization, how you are going to be different and where in the marketplace you can best apply your strengths. Finally your job is to concentrate all of your energy into becoming excellent in that area. The marketplace offers great rewards, but only for great performances.
